Prof. Paul Seddon

  • Paul Seddon is Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton and honorary Professor at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He trained in Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and MontrĂ©al.
  • He has developed a tertiary level paediatric respiratory service in Brighton, including cystic fibrosis, bronchoscopy and long term ventilation. He designed and set up the Child Health curriculum at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He is also a Trustee of the Brighton-Lusaka Health Link, and set up Advanced Paediatric Life Support training in Zambia.
  • His research interests include lung function measurement in infants and preschool children, wheezing disease and asthma in early life, and non-invasive respiratory monitoring. His current research is funded by the NIHR, and he is Research Lead for Division 3 (Children, Women, Haematology and Genetics) for the NIHR Kent Surrey and Sussex Clinical Research Network. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society / European Respiratory Society Working Group on Lung Function Measurement in Infants and Young Children, and recently led a working group which published international recommendations for Respiratory Function measurement in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care.

  • Dr. Tarun Jain is currently working as an internal medicine specialist in a private setting at Andheri, Mumbai.
  • He has over 12 years of experience as an Internal Medicine physician.
  • Dr. Tarun has worked for Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) and IPCA Laboratories Ltd. He was acknowledged as a thought leader in identifying new drugs in pain management which are the current blockbusters and are facilitating millions of people in relieving their pain safely.
